I am a little disorganized

So, I posted a slide show of our wedding pics on Friday. I was just trying to get it done and I kept running into problems. I posted it anyway late Friday night. Then, this morning I was thinking about it and I remembered Smilebox. It is much better with setting up slideshows, especially ones with lots of pictures.

We had a really nice weekend. I had a Women's Conference at church over the weekend with Author, Elyse Fitzpatrick. She was an amazing speaker. The message, worship, decorations, food, and fellowship was wonderful!! She reminded us of the importance of reminding ourselves of the gospel every moment of every day. Sometimes we get caught in all of the things we think we need to do and we leave Jesus behind. We need to remember what Jesus already did. Where are my desires focused? They should always be focused on the Savior and what He did for us. Elyse reminded us of how amazing and overwhelming it is to think about how the second in the Trinity made himself to be an infant where he depended on and submitted to unGodly parents for His every need. The One who spoke the world into existence put Himself in a place where he must depend on others to be fed, burped, etc. He then lived the perfect life in complete righteousness. I am so amazed and overwhelmed that God loves me enough that He sees me in Christ's righteousness. So, every time I falter and sin, I must first be amazed and thank Him for what He has done for me. Because when He sees me, even in my sinfulness, He sees Christ's righteousness. This is not because of anything that I have done!! When I feel like I'm not good enough because of the things that I have done, it is like saying those 3 hours at Calvary weren't good enough. I am more sinful and flawed than I ever dared believe and I am more loved and welcome than I ever dared hope.

Wow, that ended up being a lot more than I had intended. But, it was amazing message. I need to have this reminder daily.

Saturday evening James and I went out to dinner for the first time in over 8 months. Thank you so much Hyrum and Mary for watching Loegan and Malia. They had a fun time!! It was so nice to be able to go to dinner alone. Then, we came home and watched a movie, alone. It was nice and quiet and it was fun to just be together. We definitely need to figure out a way to make us go out more often than only on our birthdays and anniversary. It was really nice to reacquaint myself with my husband again.

When Malia did her modeling project a few months ago, this is what she was doing. Here are clips that Malia was in for the finished product. I was even in a few clips. I had no idea they would need me to be on camera, or I would have tried to look decent. Oh well, I guess it really doesn't matter.

Easter

We had a great Easter! Loegan and Malia enjoyed getting their "Easter baskets." This year I got these cute bags from Avon. It was an awesome year and really cool that everything was open and honest. (They know about the "Easter Bunny") They enjoyed their goodies.
We had an awesome time at church! Worship was awesome!! It was so awesome to remember and celebrate the amazing day that God planned for us. We had some great discussions as a family about what this day means to us.
We all got new Easter clothes. Malia's dress is soo pretty! Here are a few pics!! A HUGE Thank You to Chanelle, who took our pic at church. I figured, we all looked nice, a good time to take advantage of a quick family pic.

Soccer time

Ok, I'm a little late, but..

Loegan and Malia had their first game together on the same team last Saturday. It was a tie 0-0 game. They had so much fun. They're playing on the big field now and the games are so fun to watch. The kids have to work really hard and run a lot. They did a great job. We will be having a game every Saturday. Let me know if you want to go to any of the games. Here are some pics.
